Sweet persimmon cake is an ideal sweet for a meeting with family or friends. It is easy to prepare, only needs some persimmons and walnuts, those will create the stuffing. With a simple and soft dough, it is a delicious surprise for everyone.

Ingredients:
  • 5 Oz. Sugar
  • Instant yeast
  • 1 Tsp Salt
  • 1 Tbsp Oil
  • 1/2 Cup Melted butter
  • 1 Large Egg
  • 2 Cups Milk
  • 17 Oz. Cake flour
  • 7 Oz. Walnuts
  • 2 Large Persimmons
  • Black sesame seeds
Directions:

Prepare the dough. Mix the sugar, salt, yeast, oil, melted butter, egg, milk, and flour. Let the dough rest for 30 minutes.

Prepare the stuffing. Chop the walnuts and dice the persimmon finely. Mix them together.

Divide the dough into eight equal parts. Create small balls from the dough. Roll out the dough ball and dust it with sugar. Put some stuffing on the dough and create 2 filled small rolls. When ready put into a baking tray, brush with eggwash and sprinkle with black sesame seeds.

Bake the cake in the oven at 356 F/ 180 C for 30 minutes. Serve and enjoy!
