If you’re a cheese lover, you should definitely try a crunchy-on-the-outside-but-soft-on-the-inside «Potato Cheese Hotteuk (Honey Pancake)»! You can taste the light potato and savory cheese. It’s made purely out of potato dough without flour. It’s nutritious and so comforting for the insides.

Ingredients:
  • Ingredients:
  • 4 Large Potatoes
  • 1 Cup Mozzarella cheese
  • Seasonings:
  • 3 Tbsp Potato starch
  • 1/2 Tsp Salt
  • 1 Tbsp Sugar
  • 1 Tbsp Mayonnaise
  • Hotteuk filling (for 3 people): 3 Tbsp of black sugar, 1 Tbsp of crushed peanuts, 1 Tbsp of sesame seeds, 1 Tsp of cinnamon powder
  • Pizza flavor (for 3 pieces): 2 Tbsp tomato sauce, 1 Tbsp of pizza cheese
Directions:

Wash the potatoes, slice them in half, and steam for about 20-30 minutes. (Adjust the steaming time according to the stiffness and moisture of the potato.)

After steaming, peel while hot and mash in a bowl; mix well with seasoning ingredients. (Mash using a sieve when hot to get a much softer texture.)

Take about 80g of potato dough and fill with mozzarella cheese center inside to shape it round and flat. (Seal tight so the cheese stays put inside while roasting.) (Tip. The filling ingredients can vary- tomato sauce, black sugar, etc…)

Oil the heated pan generously and roast the potato dough well, front and back.
