This Pan-Seared Pork Chop With Grilled Broccoli is a delectable and easy dish. Accompanied with the fine mushroom sauce and the marinated fried broccoli it is just an amazing mix of flavours. Ideal for a light dinner!

Ingredients:
  • 1 Tbsp Salt
  • 1/8 Tsp Black pepper
  • 2 Tsp Lemon juice
  • 1 1/2 Tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1/3 Cup Olive oil
  • 4 Oz. Broccoli, cut into 2-inch pieces
  • 8 Oz. Bella mushrooms
  • 1/4 Cup Shallot
  • 2 Fillets Porkchop, bone-in
  • 1/8 Tsp Salt
  • 1/8 Tsp Black pepper
  • 1 Tbsp Butter
  • 1 Tbsp Olive oil
  • 2 Springs Fresh thyme
  • 2 Tsp White wine
  • 1 Cup Chicken broth
  • 1 Tbsp Dijon mustard
  • 1 Tbsp Chopped parsley
  • 1 1/2 Tbsp Heavy cream
  • 1/8 Tsp Black pepper
  • A pinch of Chopped parsley
Directions:

In a bowl, add salt, pepper, lemon juice, Italian spices, and olive oil and stir well, then cut the cauliflower into small stalks and put them in the bowl, and stir well. Refrigerate for 30 minutes.

Remove the stalks and slice the mushrooms for later use. Chop the shallots.

Beat both sides of the pork chop with the back of a knife to make the meat softer and tender, then season with salt and pepper.

Add olive oil to a pot, add pork chops, fry on medium heat for about 5 minutes. Turn over and add butter and thyme, fry for about 5 minutes or when the core temperature of the meat reaches 160 °F /70 °C, take it out for use.

Add white wine in the same pot, cook for a while, add chicken broth, shallots, and Dijon Mustard, stir well, add mushrooms, chopped parsley, and fresh cream, mix well, cook for about 3-5mins, add black pepper before starting the pot. Pour into a bowl and set aside.

In a pot, put the broccoli and fry until it is colored, then take it out for use.

Put the fried broccoli, pork chops, and sauce on the plate and garnish with chopped parsley.
