David Lundqvist started working as a 13-year-old at “Slussens Pensionat” in Orust, an island in the archipelago on the west coast of Sweden, where he remained for a full ten years, leaving as the chef. Three times David Lundqvist has participated in the Swedish TV-program “Chef of the Year”, ending up in the finals each time. David describes himself as an honest chef who always aims elevated flavors, carried out with simplicity, but without excluding finesse and finish. “I place great emphasis on the craft, and I prefer local, Swedish produce. Swedish. I always put in a lot of commitment and hard work so that the product delivered to the customer always meets or exceeds their expectations.”
