Born in 1941, René Meilleur comes from an old line of mountain farmers. His son Maxime, born in 1975, is a former biathlon champion. Starting from scratch and self-taught in the kitchen, these two chefs have built the restaurant and the hotel with their own hands. They gave to the Savoie region its first three Michelin star restaurant and five star hotel. Situated at 1500 metres above sea level and in the middle of the skiing pistes, La Bouitte is a place where you feel like being with a family. There is a soul. You feel immersed in one of the most luxurious mountain chalets in the region.
