Pastry chef Dorotea (Tea) Malmegård run the restaurant DoMa as a home restaurant for several years, together with chef and partner Viktor Lejon, before moving the restaurant to the ground floor in the same house as their own home. After extensive renovation, they opened in 2020. They wanted to create a place to hang out at, a bit like a living room in the city, just like their home restaurant was. “We work hard to get that feeling”, says Tea Malmegård. Tea Malmegård has previously worked at Lux, Gotham Bar & Grill in New York and as a pastry chef at Operakällaren in Stockholm. She has participated as a TV pastry chef on TV4, is a course leader at the Restaurant Academy and runs a food-focused interview podcast.
