Bone broth is a very vitalizing soup to have when you’re sick, if it’s a cold day or if you just want some comfort food. Bone broth has been proven to help digestion, boost the immune system and so much more.

Ingredients:
  • 1 tsp. Olive oil
  • 1 Bunch Celery
  • 3 stalks Carrot
  • 1 large Yellow onion
  • 5 lb. Beef bones
  • 2 oz. Ginger, sliced
  • 4 liter Coldwater
  • 5 cloves Garlic
  • 1 tsp. Coarse salt
  • 5 medium Star anise
  • 2 stalks Cinnamon stick
  • 1/4 cup Apple cider vinegar

Rough cut carrots, celery, and brown onion and saute them for a few minutes or until translucent.

Add the beef bones, ginger (rough cut), garlic, and spices into the stockpot and cover with filtered water. Add ½ cup of apple cider vinegar to the stock. the apple cider vinegar helps draw the nutrients from the bones.

Bring to a boil, then immediately reduce the heat and simmer for 8-14 hours. (pressure-cooker requires only 2 hours). The bone broth will have a brownish finish when completed.
