This recipe will show you how to make a tender pork chop with chewy, delicious udon. Both nutritious and delicious, the dish is a full meal that you can share with your loved ones.

Ingredients:
  • 2 Fillets Pork Chop
  • Marinade
  • 0.5 tsp. Salt
  • 0.25 tsp. Black Pepper
  • 1.5 tbsp. Shaoxing Wine
  • 1 Large Egg
  • Fry Coating
  • 2 cup Flourㅤ ㅤ
  • 1 tbsp. Butter
  • 5 oz. Green Onions, Cut Into 1/2 Inch Pieces.
  • 1 tbsp. Shaoxing Cooking Wine
  • 1 cup Chicken Broth
  • 1 tbsp. Zhengjiang Sweet Black Rice Vinegar
  • 2 tbsp. Rock Sugar
  • 0.25 cup Soy Sauceㅤ ㅤ ㅤ
  • 1 tbsp. Cooking Oil
  • 0.5 cup Shiitake Mushroom, Sliced
  • 3 oz. Shredded Cabbage
  • 1 tbsp. Red Thai Chili Peppers
  • 9 oz. Cooked Udon
  • 2 tbsp. Soy Sauce
  • 0.5 cup Soybean Sprout
  • 1 cup Green Onion Tops

Loosen the pork by patting it with the back of a cleaver.

Mix salt, black pepper, Shaoxing Wine and eggs to marinate the pork chop.

Cover both sides of the pork chop evenly with flour.

Add butter in a frying pan and then fry the floured pork chop at a low heat until both sides turn golden.

Then add chopped green onion, Shaoxing Wine, chicken broth, sweet black rice vinegar, rock sugar, and soy sauce. Stew until the pork chop has soaked up most of the soup and the remaining liquid in the pan is thick.

Over high heat, add cooking oil in a pan. Then add shiitake mushroom, shredded cabbage, red thai chili peppers, cooked udon and soy sauce.

Quickly stir fry them together. Next add soybean sprouts and the tops of the green onions . Quickly stir fry once more and serve.

Pour the remaining soup from Step 4 onto the udon.

1)The 1st step is very important. It helps loosen the meat so that the seasoning can be massaged into the pork. 2)Make sure that in Step 3 the pork chop is fully cooked.
