Ingredients:
  • Yogurt cream
  • 1 Large Egg
  • 0.4 cup Sugar
  • 3.5 oz. Plain yogurt
  • 4 tbsp. Cornstarch
  • 2.1 oz. Heavy whipping cream
  • 7 oz. Plain yogurt
  • Dough
  • 2 cup All-purpose flour
  • 0.6 cup Milk
  • 1 Large Egg
  • 1 tsp. Instant yeast
  • 1/2 tsp. Salt
  • 3 tbsp. Sugar
  • 1 oz. Unsalted butter
  • Frying
  • 2 cup Peanut oil, yield the best texture for donuts
Directions:

Mix the egg with the sugar and the yogurt.

Add cornstarch and mix well.

Pour heavy cream into a small pot. Add yogurt. Cook on medium-low heat.

When hot add the yogurt mixture into the pot. Cook until it is creamy and thick.

Mix egg with milk, instant yeast, salt, and sugar. Then add flour.

Knead the dough until it is not sticking to the bowl.

Then transfer it to a table and add unsalted butter. Work the butter into the dough.

Let the dough rise for about an hour to double size.

Divide the dough into 12 parts. Create small dough balls from them and let them rest for 15 minutes.

Put the yogurt mix into a piping bag. Roll out one dough ball to a rectangular shape, take the piping bag and push some yogurt filling on the dough. Cover with the dough so, that it will form a roller.

When ready, take the first one and connect the ends, so they form a donut.

Put it into the water and cover it with breadcrumbs. Donuts prepared this way let rise for 40 minutes.

Pour some oil into a frying pan on medium heat. Fry the donuts until golden brown.
