PRE TIME: 20 min
TOTAL TIME: 8 hr 20 min
  • 3 Large Chicken breasts
  • 1 tsp. Garlic salt
  • 1 tsp. Italian seasoning
  • 14 Small Baby potatoes
  • 25 Pieces Green beans stalks
  • 6 Long Medium carrots
  • 1 Large Onion
  • Salt and pepper to taste (go easy on the salt)
  • 2 tbsp. Olive oil
  • For the sauce
  • 4 Cloves Garlic
  • 1 tsp. Oregano
  • 1 tsp. Basil
  • 1/4 tsp. Red pepper flakes
  • 1/4 cup Soy sauce
  • 1/2 cup Honey
  • 1/4 cup Ketchup
  • Parsley to garnish
Season the three large chicken breasts with garlic salt. Put a little bit of Italian seasoning on the breasts and make sure you season both sides of the chicken I only used just about a teaspoon of garlic salt and Italian seasoning. Set them aside for later.
Snip the ends of the green beans then transfer them into my slow cooker. Do the same with the carrots then transfer them into the slow cooker.
If you have some bigger pieces of baby potatoes that you want to cut into half and you can just leave these smaller pieces as they are. Place the potatoes into your slow cooker.
Mince your onion and add to the rest of your veggies. Next season the veggies with some salt and black pepper then drizzle a little bit of olive oil over them and toss everything together.
Place the seasoned chicken over the veggies.
Add some minced garlic into my bowl and in this bowl I have some dried oregano dried basil, red pepper flake. Drop those in then we're going to add some soy sauce and some honey and ketchup.
Mix everything together then you're going to pour the sauce all over your chicken and veggies.
I'm gonna let this slow cook for eight hours.
After 8 hours the sauce is very watery you can leave it as it is. If you like a thicker sauce you can remove the chicken and veggies from the sauce and place them onto a separate plate.
Pour the sauce into a pan over medium heat. Thicken the sauce with some cornstarch mixed with a little bit of water once that goes into the sauce you're going to mix it in and let it cook with the sauce for about five minutes until the sauce thickens.
Pour the thickened sauce all over your chicken and veggies and this dish is ready.
