Ingredients:

  • ㅤFor The Yeast
  • tsp. Dry Yeast
  • 1 tsp. Sugar
  • 3/4 cup Warm Water (60°F-80°F)
  • ㅤFor The Flour
  • 2 cup All-Purpose Flour
  • 1/2 tsp. Salt
  • 2 tbsp. Olive Oil
  • 1 tsp. Italian Seasoning
  • 1/2 tsp. Garlic Powderㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤ
  • Tomato Sauce
  • 1 cup Tomato Sauce
  • 2 tbsp. Tomato Paste
  • 1/2 tsp. Sugar
  • 1/2 tsp. Black Pepper
  • 1 tbsp. Italian Seasoning
  • 1/2 tbsp. Garlic Powder
  • 1/2 tbsp. Onion Powder
  • 1/4 cup Fresh Basil Leaves, slicedㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤ
  • ㅤTopping
  • 20 Fresh Mozzarella
  • 1/4 cup Parmesan Cheese.
  • 6 Fresh Basilㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤ
  • 1 tbsp. Olive Oil (for pizza crust)

In a large bowl mix the instant yeast with the sugar pour in the warm water mix well and allow to dissolve.

If you use active yeast you will need to proof the yeast.for 5 minutes.

Combined salt and AP flour together and thoroughly incorporate half the flour to the yeast mix and mix well, keep adding olive oil, Italian seasoning, and garlic powder mix well.

Knead the dough by hand for approximately 8 to 10 minutes, sprinkle with a little flour as necessary to form a smooth and elastic dough. The dough should not be sticky. Or using a dough-hook on your stand-mixer on med/low setting.

When the dough is smooth, and you can press a thumbprint and bounce back and disappear, the dough is ready.

Transfer the dough to a lightly oiled bowl and cover it, let it rise for approx half an hour in a warm space (DO NOT place above 100*F).

Set your oven for approx. to 525°F /273°C Once the dough is doubled in size light and fluffy. Separate into two even portions.

Roll into smooth balls and place in separate bowls, allow to rest again for approx 10 to 15 minutes.

In a small saucepan on low heat, add the tomato sauce, tomato paste, sugar, black pepper, Italian seasoning, garlic, and onion powder, fresh basil, and stirring continuously, simmer gently for 10 minutes, making sure the bottom does not burn. Allow cooling slightly.

On a floured surface, roll out the pizza to 2 12 -inch circles,

Place each pizza on a baking sheet.

Coat with 1 cup of sauce close to the edge.

Add pizza topping, including fresh mozzarella cheese and parmesan cheese.. Save the basil for after you cook the pizza to keep the bright green color.

Drizzle the olive oil to around pizza crust.

Bake in oven or on the grill for 10 to 15 minutes until the crust is browned and the cheese is a light golden .

Finish with a sprinkle of fresh basil and extra parmesan cheese.
