Ingredients:
  • 7/8 cup Unsalted butter
  • 1/2 cup Powdered sugar
  • 2/5 cup Bread flour
  • 1/2 cup Cornstarch
  • 1 cup Cake flour

Preheat your oven to 300°F/150°C to ensure it's ready when the cookies are prepared.

Prepare the Dough: In a mixing bowl, combine the softened unsalted butter with powdered sugar. Mix well using a spatula until the butter turns white. Using an electric mixer, whip the butter mixture until it becomes light and fluffy. Use a spatula to scrape down the sides of the bowl and ensure even mixing.

Sift and Combine Dry Ingredients: In a separate bowl, sift together the cornstarch and bread flour. Add them to the butter mixture and continue to sift in the cake flour gradually. Mix the ingredients well with a spatula until they form a smooth dough. Ensure that all the dry ingredients are fully incorporated into the dough.

Knead and Shape the Dough: Transfer the dough onto a clean work surface or baking mat. Knead the dough a few times with your hands to make it smooth and pliable.

If the dough is too large to handle at once, divide it into two equal parts. Place one part of the dough into a piping bag fitted with a 8 tooth laminating nozzle.

Using the laminating nozzle, pipe the cookies onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, forming beautiful flower shapes or any desired design.

Place the cookies in the preheated oven and bake for about 30 minutes, or until they are lightly golden around the edges.
