Baking is the perfect cooking method for salmon. It adds a delicate flavor profile to the salmon that makes it interesting. This baked salmon recipe is then paired with a western-style creamy white sauce that blends perfectly with the delicate salmon.

Ingredients:
  • 10 oz. Salmon
  • 1/2 tsp. Salt
  • 1/2 tsp. Ground black pepper
  • 1 tbsp. Cooking oil
  • 1 tbsp. Mashed garlic
  • 1/2 tsp. Ground black pepper
  • 1/4 cup Minced, onion
  • 1/4 cup Minced, white mushrooms
  • 2 tbsp. Minced, carrot
  • 1/3 cup Butter
  • 1 tbsp. Yellow mustard
  • 1 tsp. Italian seasoning
  • 1/4 tsp. Sugar
  • 1/4 tsp. Salt
  • 1 cup Whole milk
  • 1 tbsp. Cilantro
Directions:

Drizzle the salmon with half of the cooking oil and lightly season with salt and ground black pepper.

Place it on the baking sheet and bake in the preheated oven for 25 minutes at 350 °F/176 °C.

Add the remaining oil to a heated skillet over medium heat and saute minced garlic for 30 seconds.

Toss in onions, ground black pepper, mushrooms, and minced carrots; continue stir-frying for 2 minutes.

Add the butter and continue cooking until the butter has fully melted.

Pour the milk and bring it to a simmer. Add in the mustard sauce, Italian seasoning, and sugar; season with salt to taste.

Turn the heat to a high until slightly thickened. Turn off the heat and add in the chopped cilantro.

Serve the baked salmon with creamy sauce. Enjoy!
