Tender braised beef is a great complement for noodles or rice. The variety of vegetables that accompany the beef glazed in a refreshing sauce makes the dish both satisfying to make and eat.

Ingredients:
  • lb. Beef Brisket Flat
  • 1 tbsp. Cooking Oil
  • 1/4 cup Garlic Cloves
  • 1/4 cup Ginger, Sliced
  • 6 stalks Green Onion
  • 1 tbsp. Shaoxing Wine
  • 2 tbsp. Soy Sauce
  • 1 tbsp. Oyster Sauce
  • 1 tsp. Five Spice Powder
  • 1 tsp. Sugar
  • 1/2 tsp. Salt
  • 5 cup Water
  • 1 tbsp. Ginger, Sliced
  • 2 tbsp. Carrot (Cut into pieces)
  • Half Onion, diced
  • 1/4 cup Bell Pepper
  • 3 oz. Broccoli (Cut into small flower-shaped pieces)
  • 2 tbsp. Cornstarch Slurry
  • 3 Stalks Green Onion
  • 7 oz. Cooked Noodles

Cut beef brisket flat brisket into large chunks. Boil in hot water and drain out.

Put cooking of oil in the pot and stir-fry of beef.

Then add garlic cloves, ginger, green onion, shaoxing wine, soy sauce, oyster sauce, five spice powder, sugar, salt, and water.

Simmer 120 - 150 min at low heat.

After simmer add ginger, carrot, onion, bell pepper, and broccoli.

Stir all the ingredients evenly. When the broccoli is cooked, thicken it with cornstarch slurry to complete.

Pour the mixture on the top of the noodles.
