If you are craving a warm soup, this is it. This chowder is easy and great for the whole family. The finely chopped onion, potato, and celery give a wholesome taste, and the bacon bits add a nice savory flavor. We added chicken powder and heavy cream for a rich and creamy finish.

Ingredients:
  • 1 large Onion
  • 1 middle Potato
  • 1 stick Celery
  • 3 slices Bacon
  • qt. Water
  • tbsp. Chicken powder
  • 1/2 cup All-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup Water
  • cup Heavy cream

Cut the onion, potato, celery and bacon to the small diced

Add the water into a pot, put the onion, potato, celery and bacon into the pot then cover and cook on high heat for about 15 mins

Add the chicken powder and mix well, and cover half for another 15 mins.

Mix the flour and water in a bowl and set aside.

Add the heavy cream and mix well, after it boiling add the flour mixture(mix well before you add it) and mix well, stir the soup occasionally to make sure it does not get burnt on the bottom, once the soup boiling again, remove the soup from the stove.

You can garnish with something like a crouton, chive or dried parsley.
