TOTAL TIME: 1 hr 5 min
4 SERVING
Ingredients:
  • 6 Large Bone-in skin-on chicken thighs
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tsp. Paprika
  • 2 tsp. Dried basil
  • 2 tsp. Dried thyme
  • 2 tsp. Dried rosemary
  • Olive oil
  • 2 tbsp. Butter
  • 1 Large Onion, minced
  • 5 Huge Cloves of garlic
  • 2 tbsp. Flour
  • 1 cup Chicken broth
  • 1/2 cup Whole milk
  • 1/2 cup Heavy cream
  • 1/4 cup Grated parmesan cheese
  • 2 Little Cubes of chicken bouillon
  • 1/4 cup Fresh basil, chopped
  • 1/4 cup Fresh parsley chopped
Directions:
1
Start by seasoning the chicken with some spices. In this bowl, I have some salt and pepper I also have two teaspoons each of paprika basil thyme and rosemary mix the spices together then you're going to season both sides of your chicken with the spices. Once you've seasoned both sides of your chicken very well you're going to wrap them with a saran wrap then let the chicken marinate for at least 30 minutes.
2
After the chicken has marinated for 30 minutes we're going to sear them. Heat up some oil in a skillet over medium to medium-high heat allows the oil to get extremely hot then place all six of your chicken thighs in the pan and make sure you place the skin side down.
3
Let a chicken sear for three minutes on one side then turn them. Cover and let them fear for another three minutes on the other side. We're looking for a nice golden brown color. Take them out of the pan and set them aside for later.
4
Get rid of all the burnt bits in your pan you can use a paper towel to clean it out a little make sure you leave a little bit of oil. In this pan, we will make the creamy sauce for the chicken.
5
Melt two tablespoons of butter over medium heat as soon as the butter has melted within a toss in one large minced onion go ahead and cook the minced onion for about five minutes until it cooks down and caramelizes a little. Then you're going to add five huge cloves of minced garlic cook the garlic for about a minute until it begins to get fragrant then you're going to add two tablespoons of flour.
6
Cook the flour for one minute just to get rid of that raw flour taste then pour in one cup of chicken broth go ahead and mix the chicken broth in continuously until the mixture thickens.
7
Then we're going to add 1/2 cup of whole milk and 1/2 cup of heavy cream you can simply use half and half if that's what you have wasted the cream in and get everything very well incorporated.
8
Then we're gonna add some Parmesan cheese. I am grading in about a quarter cup. I have two little cubes of chicken bone going in I am also adding some fresh basil about a quarter cup and another a quarter cup of fresh parsley next mix everything in and let the sauce cook for about a minute to bring all the flavors together.
9
Next add the chicken. Don't forget to add the juice from the chicken that's all good flavor.
10
Drizzle some of the sauce over the the chicken then put in the oven to bake at 400 °F/204 °C for 45 minutes. Make sure you check the chicken for an internal temperature of 165-175 °F/73.8 -79.4 °C because that's the safest temperature for baked chicken thighs.
