Tartine, which also means “toast” is French, is an open faced sandwich with once slice of bread that can be topped with a variety of ingredients. It’s quick and easy, perfect for a brunch, and we’re here to show you our version. The mushroom is sautéed with spinach and gives an earthy flavor, which we pile over Swiss cheese. Top with an egg, and sprinkle on some black pepper for the perfect touch.

Ingredients:
  • 1 cup Baby bella mushroom
  • 2 tbsp Olive oil
  • ½ cup Baby spinach
  • tsp Ground salt
  • tsp Ground black pepper
  • 1 tsp Olive oil
  • 2 large Eggs
  • tsp Ground salt
  • 1 tbsp Water
  • 2 slices Bread slices
  • 2 slices Swiss cheese

Slice the mushrooms and set aside.

Add oil into a pan, when the pan is hot, then add the mushroom and saute it until light golden brown, and add the spinach, cook about 15 seconds, season with salt&pepper, stir a little bit, then take out from the pan, set aside.

Take another pan, turn on the heat and add oil, crack an egg into a small bowl, and add the egg into the pan, and put the lid and cook for 3 mins in medium-low heat

Meanwhile, you can toast the bread slices in the toaster, once the egg and the bread are done, combine everything then serve.
