Ingredients:
  • 1 lb. Pork rib
  • 1 1/2 lb. Water
  • 1 lb. Pig stomach
  • 1 oz. Poria cocos
  • 1 oz. Dried Chinese yam
  • 1 oz. Gorgon fruit
  • 1 oz. Lotus seed
  • 1 tbsp. Rice wine
  • 1/2 tbsp. Dried goji berries

Wash the pork stomach in cold water. Then rub it with salt, flour, and white vinegar for 3-5 minutes to remove the sticky mucus on the surface of the stomach. Put it in boiling water for 2-3 minutes. Remove from the boiling water, and rinse to clean. This process will eliminate the gamey smell and foam. Remove the fat on the surface at last.

With a medium clay pot, add 1.5 qt water. Then add pork stomach, pork ribs, rice wine. Set the heat to high. Bring it to a boil. Remove the scum on top. Add the Gorgon, Poria, lotus seeds, and Chinese yam. Cover the lid. Turn the heat to low. Simmer for 1 hour. Then add goji berries, and turn off the heat. You may season with salt and ground white pepper according to your personal taste. Ready to serve.
