Sukiyaki is a very popular Japanese hot pot dish. This time is prepared in Kansai style. It is hot, flavorful, and easy to prepare,  a heart-warming meal to share at the table!

Ingredients:
  • 3.5 Oz. Japanese leek
  • 5.2 Oz. Shungiku
  • 2.8 Oz. Maitake mushroom
  • 2.8 Oz. Shimeji mushroom
  • 2.8 Oz. Enoki mushroom
  • 7 Oz. Firm tofu
  • 2.8 Oz. Konjac noodles
  • 14.1 Oz. Sliced chuck eye roll
  • 1 Tsp Beef tallow
  • 1 Tbsp Sugar
  • 0.4 Cup Sake
  • 0.4 Cup Soy sauce
  • 2-3 Large Eggs
Directions:

Cut the vegetables and firm tofu into bite-size pieces.

Burn firm tofu with a blowtorch until the surface gets slightly burned.

Warm the pot. Add the beef tallow to the pot and let it soften.

Add the beef and lightly cook it.

Add sugar, sake, and soy sauce.

Add vegetables, firm tofu, and konjac noodles.

When it comes to a boil, it's ready to eat!
