Lemon Madeleines are happened to be a nice company to a cup of coffee. This typical French biscuit is buttery and due to orange/lemon zest also refreshing. Dipped in white chocolate with lemon zest they are just the best tea cake you could have. Enjoy this tea cake loved by many in your home!

Ingredients:
  • 1/3 Cup Butter
  • 1.5 Oz. Sugar
  • 1/2 Cup Egg
  • 1 Tbsp Milk
  • 0.45 Tsp Baking powder
  • 1.7 Oz. Cake flour
  • 1/8 tsp Orange zest
  • 2 tbsp White chocolate, melted
  • 1 tsp Lemon zest
Directions:

When the butter is completely melted, let cool, and set aside. Beat the eggs until light white, add sugar, and then add fresh milk.

Sift in the baking powder and flour, mix well, add the cold butter, then add the orange zest or lemon zest.

Pour the batter into a pump bag and refrigerate for at least 4 to 24 hours.

After the mold is oiled and floured, bake at 350°F/180°C for about 10 minutes.

After cooling, you can dip it in white chocolate and add lemon zest for decoration.
