These freshly baked, homemade French Baguettes are a perfect lunch or dinner. This easy recipe with pulled chicken and vegetables is simply delicious and nutritious.

Ingredients:
  • For the dough:
  • 3 1/2 cup Flour
  • 1 tsp. Yeast
  • 2 tsp. Salt
  • 12.6 oz. Water
  • For the stuffing:
  • 5 Pieces Chicken breasts
  • Olive oil
  • 4 Large Onions
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste
  • 10 oz. Yogurt
  • 1 Clove Garlic
  • 2 Large Tomatoes
  • 2 Large Red bell peppers
Directions:

Mix flour, yeast, salt, and water. Knead until the dough is smooth and springy.

Put olive oil in the bowl and let the dough rise.

After the dough has risen divide it into 3 pieces and form baguettes from them.

Transfer them onto baking paper, sprinkle with flour and let them rise again. Cover with a cloth.

Pour water into a bigger pan. Add salt and black pepper.

Add chicken breasts into it and cook until they are soft.

Make cuts on the top of the baguettes. Sprinkle them with flour.

Bake the baguettes in the oven at 450 F°/230 °C for 30 minutes.

Cut the onions.

Put olive oil in a pot and fry the onions until translucent.

Shred the chicken breasts.

Season the onions with salt and black pepper.

Add the shredded chicken and fry them together.

Chop the garlic.

Mix the yogurt with the garlic.

Slice the tomatoes. Thinly slice the red bell pepper.

Cut the baguettes in half and fill them with all ingredients.
