Recipe
PRE TIME: 45 min
COOKING TIME: 45 min
TOTAL TIME: 1 hr 30 min
4 SERVING
Ingredients:
  • 2.1 cup Water
  • 1 tbsp. Sugar
  • 0.35 oz. Dry yeast
  • 2.2 Pounds Flour + a little flour to mix
  • 1.5 tbsp. Salt
  • 4 tbsp. Oil
  • 2.1 oz. Melted butter
Directions:
1
Put sugar, yeast, and a little flour in warm water and stir. Add more flour and mix again.
2
Add a little more, then 2 tablespoons of oil and salt, and again do everything well with a food processor.
3
Gradually add the flour and knead the dough. 2.2 pounds of flour was used.
4
Add 1-2 tablespoons of oil, knead the dough on the work surface, return to the bowl in which you kneaded, cover with a cloth and leave the dough for an hour to rise.
5
Knead the dough with a little flour and divide it into 4 parts.
6
Divide 3 parts into 4 more parts, and the fourth part into 5. Shape each small piece into a ball.
7
We stretch 8 balls into a circle and cut them in half. Now cut that half horizontally, dashes, and spread butter or margarine in half and twist it like a cornet (best seen in the video).
8
We got 16 cornets that we put in a tray in a circle.
9
Roll out 4 noodles in a circle and place them on top of each other and spread butter in between.
10
We then cut them into 8 triangles and place them in a circle, over the cones, so that the spikes are between the two cones. Repeat the same with 4 more balls, so we have one left.
11
We stretch this one into a small circle, cut it in half and wrap it in a rose (video) which we stick in the middle of the cake. Let it rise for a while while we wait for the oven to heat up.
12
Coat the cake with beaten egg yolk and milk and decorate as desired. Bake at 392 °F/ 200 °C for 45 minutes, depending on the oven.
13
Finally, coat, if desired, with butter and serve. Enjoy!
