Today we show you how to make flatbread for kebabs. A little older recipe, but it works every time, and the buns are soft, just like from a kebab house.

Ingredients:
  • 1 cup Warm milk
  • 0.5 oz. Dry yeast
  • 1 tbsp. Sugar
  • 2.2 Pounds Soft flour
  • 2 tbsp. Salt
  • 0.7 cup Yogurt
  • 1 cup Warm water
  • 0.17 cup Oil
Directions:

Mix the milk with yeast and sugar. Leave for 5 to 10 minutes for the yeast to work.

Mix the flour with salt. Add yogurt, and warm water, and add the yeast mixture.

Knead the dough by hand until all the ingredients are combined and the mass becomes uniform. It is very soft and sticky at the same time. Finally, pour the oil and lift the dough so that the oil passes on all sides.

Cover the dish with foil or a bag. Turn on the oven at 30 - 40 degrees and put the dish in the oven to stand for about an hour.

When the dough has risen, sprinkle the work surface with a lot of flour. Shake the dough and mix it with the flour. The dough is very soft, but now it doesn't stick to your hands because there is a lot of flour on it and that's how it should be.

Divide the dough into 8 equal parts. This is a measure to get 8 buns the size of those for burgers, and you can make bigger and smaller ones.

We shape each part of the dough by bending the edges and the circle, towards the center. Finally, we squeeze that center so that the edges stick together and turn. Put the noodles on a richly sprinkled with flour. So let's do with each dough ball.

Put parchment paper on several baking trays, and sprinkle it with a little flour. So we put two dough dumplings in the two upper corners of the baking tray and across, the middle one. You won't even stop anymore. Now we spread the dough with the tips of our fingers, which we dip into the flour, to get the shape of a bun. We repeat the same with each dough ball.

When finished, turn on the oven to the highest temperature and when it heats up, put the flatbreads to bake for 10 minutes or depending on your oven. They are baked when nicely browned. Wrap the baked buns in a cloth and leave them to cool.
