Shrimps and okra make a great combo in this steamed dish. It’s refreshing and delicious. Okra is a nutritious food with many health benefits. It’s rich in magnesium, folate, fiber, antioxidants, and vitamin C, K1, and A.

Ingredients:
  • 5 oz. Shrimp 
  • 1 tbsp. Minced Ginger   
  • 1 tbsp. Minced Green Onion
  • 0.25 tsp. White Pepper  
  • 0.5 tbsp. Shaoxing Wine
  • 0.25 tsp. Salt 
  • 2 oz. Okra

Peel and devein the shrimps. Save the tails for decoration later. Then mince the shrimp.

In a bowl, combine minced shrimp with minced ginger, minced green onion, ground pepper, salt, and Shaoxing wine. Mix well.

Remove both ends of okra. Then remove center parts to make an okra tube. Using a pastry bag, pipe shrimp mixture into the okra tube, and place the shrimp tails at one end.

Put the stuffed okra on a plate, and steam them in a steaming basket for 10 minutes.

Serve with soy sauce or any of your favorite sauce.
