These delicious campfire-cooked Beef Empanadas are the perfect dish for a dinner. An easy homemade dough stuffed with spicy ground beef and fried on a pan. Crispy outside, juicy inside, delectable with baked apples and ketchup.

Ingredients:
  • 10 Large Apples
  • 35 Oz. Flour
  • 1 Tbsp Vegetable oil
  • Water, warm
  • A pinch of Salt
  • 35 Oz. Ground beef
  • 7 Large Onions
  • 2 Pinches of Salt
  • 2 Pinches of Black pepper
  • Water (to add to the stuffing)
  • Vegetable oil (for frying)
Directions:

Take the apples on a tray and bake them in the oven.

Prepare the dough. Mix flour with salt, oil, warm water and knead the dough until it is homogenized. Let it rest for 30 minutes.

Chop the onions. Take the ground beef and mix with the onion, salt, black pepper, and little water.

Form equal-sized balls from the dough, cover and let it rest for some time.

Take a dough ball and roll it out to a circle. Fill half of it with the stuffing and then cover with the other half of the dough. Repeat until you finish the dough the stuffing.

Pour oil into a frying pan and fry them on both sides until golden brown.

Serve with baked apples and ketchup. Enjoy!
